Type 5 var. 1898 (17 Mar.) envelope to England, bearing 1887-92 2 1/2d. purple on blue (corner fault) cancelled with a large part strike of the datestamp showing variety "recd" for year in dateline, Paid Liverpool Br. Packet c.d.s. (20.4) at left, Worcester arrival c.d.s. (21.4) on reverse; the envelope a little toned overall and with some fox marks in places, nevertheless an exceptionally rare datestamp variety and the sole recorded use on a cover. B.P.A.
