The Royal Niger Company´s Territories 1888-99 Handstruck Stamps Akassa "the niger territories/post/office/p o/akassa." triple-oval d.s. Sacher Type 2, S.G. Type 1 1890 (24 June) envelope, Church Missionary Society embossed seal on flap, to London, bearing 1887-92 6d. purple on rose-red tied by manuscript "No local stamps R. Niger" and cancelled with London arrival c.d.s. (2.8), showing a fine strike of the oval d.s. alongside and, on reverse, another London d.s. (2.8); the original address largely reduced and written over with a new addressee, this having been largely deleted, the envelope with tear at top through opening. S.G. Z11.
