Liberia 1894 (4 Apr.) envelope via Accra and feather by S/S Thekle Bohlan 22/4/.96" to Windhoek, German South West Africa, bearing 1894 5c. black and carmine tied by straight line "Grand Bassa" and "4 Apr. 96" datestamps, 1894 Registration 10c. blue on rose (Buchanan) uncancelled as usual, "r" in circle, on reverse handstamped "registered" with manuscript date (6 Apr.) inserted, Accra (17 Apr.), Kamerun (7 May), oval Cape Town (15 July) and Windhoek (2 Sept.) transit and arrival datestamps; a little soiled or stained but attractive and rare.
