I size registered envelope, uprated with 1887-1902 5d. dull mauve and green and 1/- blue-green and black, "Per S.S. ´Bonny.´" to Germany, the stamps cancelled with oval of bars and showing Liverpool (21.12) and London (21.12) Registered oval d.s., the reverse with boxed "V." (Versichet - Insured) h.s., despatch and arrival (23.12) c.d.s.; the envelope with central vertical fold and other minor imperfections though a rare registered envelope size used. S.G. 34, 38a.
