Gold Coast Military and Expedition Mail 1895 (late) soldier´s envelope "From Bombr. G. Wilson No 65293 R.A." to England, countersigned by a Captain "Commdg R.A. Detachment Ashanti Expedition" and bearing 1884-91 1d. rose-carmine neatly cancelled with "paquebot/liverpool" double-ring d.s. (16.1), the reverse with Carnforth (16.1) and Kirkby-in-Furness (17.1) c.d.s.; the envelope with a central vertical fold though a scarce item from the Scott Expedition. S.G. 12.
