Gold Coast Mail Sent Via German Services 1895 (25 Jan.) 2d. G size registered envelope, uprated with 1884-91 2 1/2d. ultramarine and orange, "pr. Eduard Bohlen" to Hamburg, Germany, the 2 1/2d. cancelled with oval of bars with Type 5 c.d.s. at foot and showing, at left, unframed "Aus West-Africa/mittels Woerman-Dampfer/über Vlissingen und/Oberhausen (Rheinland)" cachet (Type G8), Hamburg arrival c.d.s. (13.2) on reverse. A rare cover carried on the fast route. S.G. 14.
