(26.12) in the same colour on reverse alongside incorrectly applied Paid Liverpool Br. Packet c.d.s. (24.1), bearing U.S. Postage Due 1891 10c. bright claret cancelled with oval-framed "new york/p o" h.s. and showing the "T" handstamp overwritten "10" in brown crayon and with part New York "due/10/cents" h.s. in lower left corner; unusual and an early usage of the Postage Due.
