† Gold Coast Accra 1895 (14 Dec.) copy of "The Gold Coast Express" newspaper to Bournemouth, bearing 1884-91 1/2d. dull green pair each cancelled with "paquebot/liverpool" double-ring d.s. (16.1), the contents including commercial adverts and notes on the war against Samory (Muslim reformer and military leader); folds sympathetically strengthened with archival tape, nevertheless an exceptional item of mail with only two such usages recorded.
