Mandingue Via Marseilles" to Switzerland, written in German on board ship and cancelled with "union/marseille" c.d.s. for 23 August with a further strike below, Marseilles Depart (23.8) and Gais arrival (24.8) c.d.s., all on face; vertical crease well clear of the stamp impression.
