Gambia 1883 (10 Mar.) envelope from Bathurst to Tower Hill Barracks, Sierra Leone, "4" accountancy mark in red crayon (whole 4d prepaid fee on intermediate port mail to be retained by colony) and bearing 1886-93 2d. rose (2) each neatly cancelled with "gambia/b/paid" c.d.s. in red with a further superb strike at lower left corner, arrival c.d.s.
