French Sudan 1894 (2 July) envelope registered to Rochefort-Sur-Mer, bearing 1894 Bamako provisional "0.25" on 1f. olive-green horizontal pair with "bafoulabe soudan francais" cancellations and with another strike repeated at left, boxed "r" handstamp and blue octagonal "ligne j paq. fr. no. 5" datestamp of 21 July, arrival c.d.s. (29 July) on reverse; the envelope with flap missing and a small portion missing at top, the adhesives with a few slightly stained perfs., otherwise fine and extremely rare. S.G. 2.
