French Sudan 1892 (28 Apr.) envelope to France, bearing French Colonies General issues 1881-86 15c. blue tied by "medine soudan francais" c.d.s. with another strike repeated alongside, blue octagonal "loango a bordeaux l.l. no. 1" datestamp of 23 May on the front, on reverse Kayes (29 Apr.) transit and Orleans (3 June) arrival; the envelope damaged in places and with portions missing, nevertheless a scarce military rate cover.
