x Tasmania 1856 (16 July) envelope from Circular Head to Ireland, possibly carried on the "James Baines", Postmaster´s endorsement "C Head 16/7/56" at left and bearing 1855 2d. green with margins largely all round and 4d. blue with four good to large margins, each lightly cancelled "20" and showing Paid Liverpool tombstone d.s. (21.11) at left, the reverse with diamond-framed "post-office/launceston" d.s. (21.7), and two Irish c.d.s. (22 and 23.11); attractive. Photo Estimate £ 750-800 provenance: W.E. Tinsley
