x South Australia Covers and Cancellations 1855 (26 Feb.) mourning envelope from Adelaide "Per ´James Baines´ via Melbourne" to London, rated "10" and bearing 1855 2d. rose-carmine strip of three, pair and a single, the strip touched at left, otherwise with good to large margins, all cancelled with void oval and showing despatch c.d.s., Australian Paid Liverpool Packet c.d.s. (29.5) and London Paid c.d.s. (30.5), the latter additionally tying the strip and the pair. A fine and rare franking of the 1/- rate, and used in the second month of issue.
