Vauxhall Bridge Company, certificate no. 187 for (five) shares, 180(9), black printing, on vellum, copper seal depicting Saxon warrior standing in front of the bridge, some discolouration of the vellum and with the usual 3 folds, fine to very fine. Designed by James Walker and opened in 1816, this was the first iron bridge over the Thames. It lasted less than 90 years and was demolished in 1898. Estimate £ 350
