                        Philips´ Incandescent Lamp Works Holding Company, Eindhoven, a group of 3 certificates from the Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. archives, 1930, comprising deposit certificates for 1, 5 and 10 units issued by Royal Exchange Assurance, coats of arms at top, ornate borders, red, green and brown, with coupons, extremely fine (3). To facilitate British investment in this large and well known Netherlands registered company, the Royal Exchange acquired original shares and issued these certificates in their place. Each unit represented one fifth of two shares of 25 florins, equal to 2 shillings sterling.
