Daedalus (Royal Naval Air Station Lee-on-Solent) from June 1917; the latter was a seaplane base and training school which was established in 1917, and whose first commander was Squadron Commander Dogulas Evill; Bance transferred to the R.A.F., 1.4.1918; discharged 16.3.1921.
