London Gazette 15.8.1917), and with the Egyptian Expeditionary Force, 13.5.1918-31.10.1918; served at the Indian Surgical Hospital, Agra, 1922-23 and at the Indian Surgical Hospital, Lucknow, 1923-24; served as Commanding Officer Indian Surgical Hospital and Medical Services Depot, Rangoon, 1924-27; advanced Colonel 1936; retired 1944; he died at his residence, "Fugelmere", Culver Way, Sandown, Isle of Wight.
