Foot.), heavy contact marks, good fine Estimate £ 280-320 1952 Private Michael Power, born Castletown, Wicklow, 1824; enlisted in the 10th Foot, June 1843; served with the Regiment throughout the Second Sikh War, at the Siege of Mooltan, September 1848- January 1849, and at the Battle of Goojerat, 21.2.1849; served during the Indian Mutiny, and present at the Siege and Capture of Lucknow, March 1858; discharged March 1863, after 19 years and 272 days with the colours, of which 16 years were spent in India.
