Ditta, Mule Corps and Commissariat Department India General Service 1854-95, three clasps, Burma 1887-89, Chin-Lushai 1889-90, Hazara 1891 (1878 Mule Duffader Allah Ditta Commt Transport Deptt.), with official corrections; India General Service 1895-1902, V.R., three clasps, Relief of Chitral 1895, Tirah 1897-98, Waziristan 1901-2 (196 Mule Duffadar Alla Ditta Commt. Transpt. Dept. Punjab.); Queen´s Sudan 1896-98 (250 Driver Alla Ditta. Commissariat Deptt:), engraved in running script, with official corrections; Tibet 1903-04, one clasp, Gyantse (296 Kote Dufdr Allah ditta 7th Mule Corps); India General Service 1908-35, E.VII.R., one clasp, North West Frontier 1908 (296 Kot. Duffr. Allah. Ditta 7th Mule Corps); Delhi Durbar 1911, engraved in sans-serif capitals ´Alla Ditta Jemadar 7th Mule Corps´; Khedive´s Sudan 1896, no clasp, unnamed as issued, light contact marks overall, generally very fine (7) Estimate £ 700-900 As with most campaign medals to native troops it is difficult to actually prove entitlement due to the lack of extant material such as medal rolls. This group provides the usual variations in spelling of name and occasional difference of number, however, in the Indian Army List of 1919 in the War Services of Indian Officers section a ´´Ressaidar Ditta, 7th Mule Corps´´ is given with the following war service, ´´China [sic] Lushai, 1889-89; Samana, 1891; Wazirstan, 1897; Tirah Expeditionary Force, 1897-98; Mahsud Blockade, 1901-02; Sikkim Tibet Mission Force, 1903-04; North-Western Frontier, 1908´´; similarly the Delhi Durbar Roll for 1911 gives a ´´Jemadar Alla Ditta´´ as the only recipient on the medal for the 7th Mule Corps.
