McDonald, Lieut. 26th Regiment Foot.), light contact marks, good very fine Estimate £ 600-700 Lieutenant Alexander McDonald, commissioned Ensign 26th Foot, 1829, and was appointed Adjutant in March of that year; Lieutenant 1832; served with the regiment at the first capture of Chusan, and the attack on Canton; retired Half Pay 1843.
