x Great Britain A miscellaneous collection of stamps and covers in two files, including 1681 Bishop mark and a few other pre-stamp covers; 1840 Mulready unused 1d. and 2d. envelopes, and used 1d. envelopes with red and black Crosses; 1840 1d. black (4 with one on cover) and 2d. blue (5 with a pair); 1841 selection with 1d. plus 2d. and embossed 1/- on cover to France, 1d. cancelled "448" in blue on cover to Cheadle, 1d. cancelled with blue Cross on cover from Truro, 1d. on Valentine´s "nation shall not lift up...." envelope to Manchester, 1d. set of Number in Cross cancellations, 2d. pairs (2), strips of three and four; later Line-Engraved; 1847-54 Embossed 1/-; a range of Surface-Printed with some covers, mostly to overseas destinations, and others with 1883-84 2/6d. to 10/- and 1891 £1 used; also some British Commonwealth, maps, etc. An interesting lot well worth viewing Estimate £ 2,500-3,000
