Great Britain Postage Dues 1912-23 Watermark Royal Cypher Postage Due 1 1/2d. chestnut, a block of six (3 x 2) from lower-left corner of the sheet with "U 23" control, the bottom row (unmounted mint) with two stamps showing part of the "postage" watermark, the other stamp showing part watermark mould code "A2", a few light gum bends. Fine, fresh and very rare (possibly unique in private hands). S.G. Spec. R3 vars, unpriced but the basic stamps catalogue £600+ (2005). Photo Estimate £ 400-500
