Italian Post Offices in the Turkish Empire 1881 ( 2 Feb.) large envelope registered to Cagliari, bearing 1874 "estero" 20c. blue and 30c. brown (18) to make a 5L. 60 rate, "235" (type 5) in barred oval cancellations with "tunisi/poste italiane" (type 2) datestamp with year slug inverted alongside, boxed "raccomandato" (type 11) and "coi postali italiani" (type 13) handstamps, arrival datestamp on reverse; the envelope and adhesives with a few small faults as to be expected with an item of this size, nevertheless a unique cover and most appealing.
