Switzerland 1850 Rayon I, unframed Cross 5Rp. red and violet-blue, type 26, large margins except where just touched at lower-right, on 1851 (1 Apr.) entire letter to Schwartzenburg with blue Berne despatch datestamp, blue "p.p." cancellation and with arrival marking on reverse; fine and extremely rare. Unpriced on cover by Zümstein. Von der Weid Certificates (1978 and 2000), the latter stating "...timbre très frais de colour, tiente particulièrement vive et caratèristique de cette èmission".
