Russia Mongolia 1900 (8 Apr.) native red band envelope to Germany, bearing 1889-92 10k. blue vertical pair, the stamps tied by a single "troitskosavsk" c.d.s with another strike alongside, dotted "r" in circle and "Troitskosavsk" registered label on front, reverse showing Halle and Chemnitz transit and arrival markings, fine. Troitskosavsk is situated on the border between Siberia and Mongolia, as this letter is addressed partly in Chinese it suggests that it most likely originated in Mongolia Estimate £ 3,000-5,000
