Stuyvesant Fish: A nice group of Railroad certificates all signed by Fish as President of the companies, comprising Belleville and Southern Illinois Railroad Co, 1897; Dunleith & Dubuque Bridge Co., 1890; Omaha Bridge and Terminal Railway Co., 189- (1905); Peoria, Decatur and Mattoon Railroad Co., 1905 and Yazoo and Mississippi Valley Railroad Co., 1896, all but the Peoria have vignettes, various colours, all cancelled, very fine or better (5) Estimate £ 120-150 Stuyvesant Fish (1851-1923), Railroad, Bank and Insurance executive, long time President of the Illinois Central RR. He was ousted from power by Harriman in 1906 for misuse of funds.
