The company acquired land in Honduras after Great Britain renounced its protectorate over Poyais and Mosquito in 1850. Estimate £ 60-80 Bedford Pim is best remembered for leading the daring sledge rescue of the crew of HMS Investigator that had become stuck in the Antarctic ice.
