North Borneo Covers and Cancellations 1896 (10 Nov.) double rate envelope (223x95mm.) registered to Paris, bearing 1894 Pictorial 6c., 8c., 12c. (defective) and 1895 4c. on $1, all tied by "sandakan" c.d.s. (Type D5), showing framed registration h.s. (Type R2) and Modane a Paris transit c.d.s. (10.12) in red; the envelope a little soiled and creased. A good example of the double 10c. letter rate plus 8c. registration fee which was overpaid by 2c. Photo Estimate £ 200-250
