British Levant 1878 G.B. 1 1/4d. card from Smyrna to England cancelled "F87" and with c.d.s. alongside, 1890s G.B. 1/2d. envelopes (2) with Constantinople and Smyrna B.P.O. c.d.s.; 1888-99 envelopes from Constantinople to the U.K. (5, one registered) franked with 1885 40pa. on 2 1/2d., 1891 envelope from Smyrna to U.S.A. bearing 1885 40pa. on 2 1/2d. cancelled "S" in oval of bars, 40pa. on 2 1/2d. envelopes (3), one registered from Constantinople to France, one from Smyrna to Holland with "too late" h.s. and one unused, and Incoming Mail with 1887 envelope from G.B. and 1893 card from Aden, both to Constantinople, the first through the B.P.O., the second through the Turkish P.O.; generally good to fine and an interesting group Estimate £ 200-250
