Cape of Good Hope - Boer War Printed or Hand-Illustrated Covers 1901 (5 June) from Cape Town to London, bearing 1893 1d. cancelled with c.d.s. and showing "Mafeking. Hold the fort I am coming" printed illustration in magenta, Hampstead arrival c.d.s. (21.6) on reverse, and an unused envelope from the same series showing wagon entitled "Steyns Pantechnicon. Capitals Promptly Removed By Road, River or Rail" and "Farewell! A Long Farewell to All My Greatness"; the first with a few small faults on reverse, the unused with a central vertical crease. An attractive pair. Also 1898 Masonic Hall and 1901 Charles Ayres, Seedsman and Florist illustrated envelopes addressed within the Cape Estimate £ 120-150
