Currency Board, colour trial 50 pounds, 30 September 1929, serial number A 000000, orange & pale green, the White Tower at Ramleh at left, printed signature of Caulcutt, Ezechiel and Vernon, value at centre and each corner, reverse orange, the Tower of David and the Citadel of Jerusalem at centre, value at left and right (Dabbah page 240, Pick 10b for similar) Dabbah calls this a presentation note and states one other example known ´specimen No.6´, this is ´specimen No.4´. A truly spectacular note, three small perforations, about uncirculated and striking colours, extremely rare, one other example believed extant Estimate £ 20,000-30,000
