ÐtoËemaioy baÓiËeÙÓ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt, palm-branch over far wing, date aË (= year 30) and headdress of Isis on left, Ða behind (SNG Copenhagen 397; Svoronos 1840), very fine Derisorily nicknamed ´Auletes´- the flute player, for his fawning subservience to Rome, he owed his second reign to Julius Caesar´s intervention, having been deposed previously as a result of his weak and dissolute rule.
