Great Britain Line Engraved 1840 One Penny Black Plate V KK, close to good margins all round, tied by red Maltese Cross on 1841 (11 Feb.) front (with one side flap) to London; turned and re-sent on the same day bearing 1d. Plate III NJ, touched at lower-left corner, margins other sides and with black Maltese Cross cancellation; some faults but a rare and spectacular piece illustrating the use of the Maltese Cross in black and red.
