Great Britain Line Engraved 1840 One Penny Black Plate II IC, just touched at the extreme lower-right corner but good to large margins showing portions of the adjoining stamps at left and right, tied on 1841 (11 Feb.) entire letter to Preston with pinkish red Maltese Cross cancellation and Ormskirk c.d.s. in the same colour on the reverse; light vertical filing folds well clear of the adhesive; fine and scarce, late usage of the pinkish red Maltese Cross.
