1881 (1 July) Watermark Crown CC, Die 1 Covers 1881 (13 Sept.) envelope registered from Larnaca to Constantinople, bearing 1/2pi. emerald-green vertical pairs (2) and 2pi. blue, each cancelled "942" and showing Larnaca c.d.s. and "registered/cyprus" oval d.s., both in red at foot; a few small imperfections though a rare and unusual registered franking.
