(used, very rare), handstamped in violet 8d. and 9d. unused, "postage" 29 1/2mm., no stops after "postage" or value, handstamped "british vice-consulate antananarivo" in violet 1d. and 6d. unused (both rare), handstamped "british consular mail antananarivo" in black 1d. (2), 1 1/2d. (2), 2d. (2), 3d. (2), 4 1/2d. (2) and 6d. (2), handstamped in violet 1d., 1 1/2d., 2d., 3d. and 6d. all unused, without handstamp 1d. and 6d. unused (both rare), "postage" 24 1/2mm. long and no stop after "postage" handstamped "british vice-consulate antananarivo" 4d. unused, 4d., 8d., 1/- and 1/6 without handstamp unused (all rare), 1895 (Jan.) set in singles and blocks of four (cancelled, the 4d., 6d., 8d. and 1/- with two tête-bêche pairs), 1895 (March) set part original gum, condition somewhat mixed as is usual with these fragile stamps printed on poor quality paper but many fine and a valuable lot.
