India — 4a. deep blue and red, a horizontal pair with good to large margins, each cancelled "b/1" and tied on 1856 (8 Apr.) entire from Calcutta "p St. Bengal" to Bordeaux, showing sender´s cachet, boxed "india paid", "10" rate h.s. and faint French entry c.d.s. in red, all on face, the reverse with despatch and two French c.d.s. R.P.S. Certificate (2008) states "unable to certify that they originate on this lettersheet", however a fine looking pair even if not originating on this letter.
