TRINIDAD 1863-72 Britannia Issue, Watermark Crown CC, Perf. 12 1/2 Covers 1874 (24 Apr.) double-rate envelope "Via Panama" to "His Excellency Admiral The Hon. Arthur A. Cochrane C.B. H.M.S. Repulse Valparaiso", bearing (1d.) carmine pair (placed vertically with one folded over top edge of cover) and 1/- chrome-yellow pair each cancelled with two "trinidad" double-arc d.s. showing red crayon "8", "10", 2/1", all overlapping, and "2/-", and "trinidad/paid" c.d.s. in red, all on face, St. Thomas c.d.s.
