Great Britain Postal History 1841 (21 March) entire letter from Suez to Bath, rated "1/-" and showing, on reverse, a fine strike of the very rare Falmouth "india/f" double-arc h.s. in green with Bath arrival c.d.s. (13.4) alongside; some light overall soiling but free from filing creases. The letter was forwarded on the S.S. ´Orient´ which departed Alexandria on 26th March, arriving in Falmouth on 10th April. Exceptionally rare with very few examples of this India mark recorded. Photo Estimate £ 2,800-3,000
