"soldier´s and seamen´s" 9p. envelope (opened-out) from "Sergt E Shannon R.E., 3rd Co. 2nd Sappers & Miners" to Belfast, countersigned by Commanding Officer and cancelled by light "falam" c.d.s. and showing, on reverse, Monywa (4.12) and Rangoon (7.12) transit datestamps A very scarce usage from the Chin Hills Expedition, used by a member of the force retained at posts all over the area after fighting in the Chin Hills had virtually ceased.
