x Cape of Good Hope - Boer War 1899-1901 selection of taxed covers/cards (12) from Cape Colony with five unstamped and three bearing G.B. 1d. lilac (all uncancelled), showing a variety of tax h.s. and manuscript markings at 1d., 2d. or 3d., one with boxed "closed against/inspection" and one registered to England with London framed "Posted out/of course/i.s." h.s. in violet; also two later including 1901 envelope from France to Cape Colony and with Cape 1d. added for redirection to Bolo.
