Cape of Good Hope Covers and Cancellations 1892 (12 Jan.) envelope to Libreville, Gabon, bearing France Peace and Commerce 25c. black cancelled with a fine strike of the "loango a marseilles/l.m.no 3" octagonal d.s. (Salles 1254) in red with a further strike at left, redirected to Marseilles though sent a vessel in the wrong direction and showing a good strike of the "missent/to cape town" handstamp partially over-cancelled with Le have c.d.s. (26.5), the reverse with Las Palmas (12.1), Funchal (17.2) and part Marseilles (28.5) c.d.s. A rare and most unusual item. Photo Estimate £ 350-400
