Sudan The Nile Expeditionary Force 1898 (27 Apr.) envelope "From Pte. W. Gray 5301 F Coy (Seaforth Highlan)ders" to Scotland and marked "Nile Expeditionary Force Egypt", countersigned by the Commanding Officer and showing Halfa c.d.s. on face, the reverse with a good strike of the rare "Wet through collision on the Nile" h.s. alongside Alexandria (8.5) and Galashiels (16.5) c.d.s.; stamps floated off and with some damage in places as to be expected with an item of this nature.
