Afghanistan 2nd. Afghan War, 1878-81 1880 (3 Mar.) envelope "From No. 1583 Lc. Sergt. W.A. Cameron 72nd. Highers." at Sherpur Cantonment, Cabul to Scotland, countersigned by the Commanding Officer, marked "via Brindisi" and bearing 8p. mauve and 1a. brown (both with defects) cancelled with diamond of bars and showing, on reverse, Field P.O., Bombay (15.3) and arrival (8.4) c.d.s.
