Thomas Edward Brinsmead & Sons Ltd., £5 ordinary shares, 189(6), small vignette of piano in scrollwork at left, shield design at top, black, very slight discolouration at top edge, AVF. Registered 1895. Piano manufacturers. Wound up by creditors but Stanley Brinsmead continued to produce pianos for a short time. Another, and better known family firm, John Brinsmead & Sons, continued to make pianos until 1920. Estimate £ 20-30
