Owned the Greyhound Hotel in High Street, Croydon. Financed and built by Jabez Balfour and associates. Frederick Rocke was a director of 3 of the Balfour companies. Hobbs was the builder who also sat on the board of Balfour companies. He was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment (later reduced to 8) following the collapse of the Balfour empire Estimate £ 100-120
