x New South Wales 1861 (20 Feb.) entire to London, marked "via Marseilles", bearing Diadem 3d., 6d. and 1/-, the last two cut down to inner design size, all tied by Sydney duplex with the 3d. and 6d. additionally tied by red London Paid arrival c.d.s., the 1/- crossed by vertical filing crease; 1862 (22 July) entire letter from Sydney to England, marked "pr overland mail via Marseilles", bearing Diadem 1d. and 1/- and 1862 2d., the last down cut down to inner design size, each cancelled by "NSW" in sunburst.
