Malaya Federated Malay States 1900-01 essay proofs in the form of imperforate colour trials, 1c. (12) in dull purple and black, black and carmine, dull green and green, and in black and ultramarine, three of each in three columns of four, column "1" with no inner frame lines (Type 3), column "2" with frame line to centre panel and inner frameline to panels left and right of "1c" (Type 1), and column "3" with white background, all affixed to piece (156x179mm.); horizontal and vertical creases clear of proofs and two adhesive tape stains at left.
