British Solomon Islands 1907 (Feb.) Large Canoe 1/2d. to 1/- set of seven mint with additional 1/2d. mint (6 comprising a marginal block of four with central vertical perforations double and two singles with double perfs at right) and used (2), 1d. unused with double perfs at right and a used pair, 2d. used (3) and 2 1/2d. mint and used (6 including two pairs); also the set of seven forgeries plus 2d. (2), 2 1/2d. (2), 6d. (2) and 1/- (2) with forged postmarks. An interesting lot with minor varieties identified. S.G. 1-7, £779+ Estimate £ 250-300
